Kozel Premium

A thin bright white head which leaves lots of lace on a yellow coloured lager. Looks much like any macro lager.
The tastes are far better than mainstream stuff.
Very little aroma from this beer, A touch of hay or dry grass maybe.
Feel is quite rich and creamy. Coats the tongue lightly and pleasantly.
Tastes start with a nice malt body, some sweet honey flavours with a grass or hay base. The bitterness is fairly subdued and mostly earthy tastes with just a touch of citrus. The malt base stays with the beer and provides the foundation for the rest to build on.
This is a much more flavorful lager than we usually get in North America. It is distinctive and flavorful instead of being bland and dead.

A warm summer day and this would be great.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.

From man's sweat and God's love, beer came into the world.
