La Messagere Gluten Free Beer

Virtually no head, very pale gold coloured beer.
An aroma of earth, honey sweetness, and a hint of citrus.
The taste is a bit bland, there is a bit of earthiness, a light honey sweetness, and a hint of citrus.
The feel is quite sparkling, and the finish is lightly hoppy.
The aftertaste is a bit too sweet for me.
Considering that this is gluten free it is not too bad. It is very much like most mainstream lagers. Perhaps it will open up the world of beer to those who cannot handle gluten.
This beer is not for me but is a fair attempt nonetheless.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.

Beer Quote of the day

Oh I have been to Ludlow fair, and left my necktie God knows where. And carried half way home, or near, pints and quarts of Ludlow beer.

— Alfred Edward Housman

(Sounds like a place to visit.)
