BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Lake of Bay's - Rouse - Red Ale
Lake of Bay's - Rouse - Red Ale Pours a dark garnet colour with a very thin white head. Aroma is sweet malt with a touch of citrus and dark berry. Feel is nicely rich and creamy. Taste starts with a strong roasted malt, toast and dark bitter chocolate. Some dark berry and lemon citrus sit on top. The finish is a bit dry and earthy, quite pleasant. The berry flavours intensify as the beer warms. A very good red ale, it would make a good session beer. I'll be buying it again.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
