Le Grimoire - La Vie de Château

Pours pink with off white head a good amount of lace that lasts.
Some berry in the aroma as well as a hint of alcohol.
Fairly rich and creamy mouth feel.
Sweet start with a bit of berry, some alcohol and spices. Middle is almost all berry and it finishes with a drying alcohol taste in a very pleasant way.
This is nice. Back to Quebec for more I hope. Soon!

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.

Beer Quote of the day

Beer is the Danish national drink, and the Danish national weakness is another beer.

— Clementine Paddleford

(I've had their Faxe beer. Their national pass time should be laying down!)
