A medium sized long lasting bright white head on a golden amber coloured clear beer.
The colour is actually quite attractive and hard to describe.
The aroma when chilled was very faint, as it warmed a bit there are aromas of cloves and coriander, a bit of vanilla, some kind of berry which I could not identify, a bit of honey, and a hint of alcohol.
Feel is very creamy and the taste is of banana, berry, cloves and coriander, a hint of alcohol which is more of a feel than a taste, and honey (this could almost be described as caramel but it seemed closer to honey to me).
The aftertaste fills your mouth with a honey sweetness containing just a touch of bitter hoppiness to make me want more.
All in all, a very good blend of flavours which should be sipped and savoured rather than pounded.
I will buy this one again often.

Full aroma, smells very hoppy. A spicy kick. Full creamy texture, fills your mouth nicely.
It has a very refreshing full hop taste. A very mellow full flavored beer.
Might be a little corn taste in there.
As it stands in the glass, the aroma and the spicy flavor become more pronounced possibly through warming. More likely through oxidation.
This one gets an excellent from me. In fact it should be outstanding.

Leffe Blonde

A huge bright white head. Lasted through the whole beer, but that didn't take long.
The beer is a clear golden colour.
It smells mostly like cloves.
The taste is full of spices, cloves and maybe coriander. Thats most of the flavour but there is a bit of sweetness and maybe a touch of banana or something. Maybe even a bit of raisin.
It is a different taste for me, I'm not used to having spices in my beer but this is GOOD.
I'm really enjoying these, glad I have some more waiting for me.

Beer Quote of the day

Paul Newman's an old friend of ours out of Cleveland, Ohio. He used to sit around our house. He's the only man I've ever known to drink a case of beer all by himself. That's talent in a way.
