Les Freres Houblon - Blanche Aux Bleuets
Pours a slightly cloudy amber/pink with a full, rocky, but short lived, slightly pink head.
Aroma of sour blueberry off the top, some light dough, earth and grass come through.
Feel is quite rich and creamy.
Taste starts with a strong blueberry and peach taste that has some sour undertones.
There is a distinct malt base, both doughy and full of grass.
The finish is quite dry and the fruit flavours linger nicely.
I don't notice the high alcohol at all but the dough taste seems to linger quite a while.
I kind of like this one, I could sip at these all afternoon with no trouble at all, problem is that it is supposed to be a Belgian style Tripel but it is not very close to the style in anything but the alcohol content.

Les Freres Houblon - Blanche Aux Bleuets
Pours a hazy peach color with a thick quickly disappating head. Lots of lace clings to the glass.
Aroma is mostly blueberries with just a hint of raspberry.
Medium mouth feel.
Tastes like blueberries mixed with cream soda. Alcohol is in the background but noticeable.
This isn't bad at all. The carbonation makes it very interesting.
