Maredsous Brune 8°

Very dark brown, looks like a cola. Big tan coloured head that lasts a long time.
Smells like plums and raisins.
Tastes really good, some raisins and even a bit of chocolate and cream. I can taste a bit of alcohol.
It's very sparkly and full with a drying feel at the end.
It's all so smooth that I could try to drink a lot of them. That would be a mistake.

Maredsous Brune 8°

A very thick and creamy tan coloured head on a dark coffee coloured beer.
The aroma is chocolate and berry with a hint of alcohol and the feel is rich, round and creamy.
Taste is mild milk chocolate with dark berries, fruit and an orange citrus sparkle. This is a well carbonated beer with some mild alcohol tastes.

The feel really makes this ale, it is so rich and creamy that it makes a warm experience. The citrus hop flavour is just enough to give it some zip and keep it from being too heavy.

Beer Quote of the day

My grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.
