Marston's - Old Empire
Another clear bottle, another skunked beer.
It pours clear golden with a decent white head.
The only aroma I can get is skunk.
Feel is full and rich.
I can't really describe the taste because it is skunked.
A highly hopped beer in a clear bottle is a disaster. Wish the damn marketing people would go away so brewers would use dark bottles or even cans.
What a waste.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
