Marstons Pedigree English Ale (bitter)
A great old English Bitter Ale.
A thick white head and a beautiful golden bronze colour.
You can smell the English countryside in this. Lots of fruit and grass aromas.
The taste is a lovely solid sweet malt with just enough hop bitters to make it sing.
Aftertaste lingers on and on and I can even taste some good old English forest in here.
I love English ales.
This is a good one.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.

it has become my favorite brew. I find that it reminds me of guiness and i love guiness although it is an ale and not a stout
