Microbrasserie Saint-Arnould - La Noblesse

Pours a cloudy, dark orangy colour with a thick, full, light tan head.
A fruity, spicy aroma, vanilla, pepper and smoke.
Feel is very full and rich.
The first taste that hits is vanilla and cream, berries (strawberry and blackberry) followed by a honey sweetness and then a great slightly dry and tart finish.
There really are faint hints of smoke and black pepper buried in here, quite different.
It is a bit sweeter than I was expecting and reminds me of a vanilla milk shake. Both the feel and some of the tastes are similar to a milk stout.
A very good beer but not at all what I expect from a Belgian Blonde. Very drinkable and certainly a different taste. I like it.
