Microbrasserie Saint-Arnould - P'tit Train Du Nord
Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a reasonable size white head which lasts fairly well.
Aroma is pine and citrus.
Feel is a touch watery but not bad.
Tastes are mostly pine and citrus on some doughy malt, North American hops on an English pale ale base.
A very refreshing beer, the hops are nice and bright but this is not any kind of 'hop bomb', just a good hot weather beer that actually has some taste.
The 'Small Northern Train' in the name seems to come from a trail (hiking and mountain biking) which was built from an old railway line. A fitting name for the piney hops in the taste.
