BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Mill Race Mild
A full, coarse, off-white head which lasts through the glass on a dark reddish/brown (Garnet) coloured beer.
A nice chocolaty malt aroma with touches of citrus and some sourness.
The taste is quite mild, some chocolate (roasted malt) with a nice citrus tingle over the top, a very light bitterness in the finish which combines nicely with the clean, sparkling citrus taste to make a good summer ale. This is one I could drink all evening and the low alcohol makes that even more desirable.
The feel is lightly creamy and the aftertaste leaves me wanting more.
This seems like a British pub mild ale, designed to spend an evening with, and I would be more than happy to do so.
I am going to get more next time I am in Cambridge.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
