Mill St. Brewing - Betelgeuse

Pours clear, dark amber with a very thin and short lived white head.
A faint aroma of raisins and berries, somewhat rum like with alcohol present.
Feel is very rich and creamy.
Taste is full of raisins, dates, and apple. The alcohol taste is there but not overpowering. Some almost buried bread notes but very little bitterness.
Definitely a sipping beer.
Not a bad attempt a a Belgian Tripel, much better than some I have had but not up to Unibroue's La Fin du Monde or most of the Trappist tripels.

I totally agree. Not up to

I totally agree. Not up to par with the Quebecers yet.

Hitachino Nest White Ale A pale yellow color with a clumpy but short lived head. Spices and banana are all I can detect in the aroma. Full rich creamy mouth feel. This is nice. Lots of spice and banana with some hints of pepper. Easy drinking but also very flavorfull. I wish I had more but alas that is not to be with Japan still in shambles.
