BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Mill Street Brewery, Tankhouse Ale
Light, bright white head on a clear dark copper coloured beer.
An aroma of citrus and earth.
This beer has a complex, well balanced and highly hopped taste.
There is some citrus, some biscuit, a deep bitterness and a bit of earthiness with just a hint of burnt coffee.
A very pleasant and well balanced beer. Radically different from mainstream beers and a good example of what craft brewers can do.
There is a sparkly mouthfeel, and a very deep (like a bass note) taste of a bitter sweetness. That may sound contradictory, but it is the taste that is present.
The aftertaste is a light sweetness on the back of the tongue, like a small drop of honey or maple syrup.
I will buy this one again often.
