Molson Brador

A great aroma. Got my hopes up but it had almost no flavour to speak of. A slight sweet aftertaste. I was disappointed.

Molson Brador

I used to drink this when I was in college. Used to think it was pretty good too.
Wonder if IT changed or if I did?
Anyway, Virtually no head and what little there was vanished instantly.
The aroma is slightly interesting, there is a hint of ginger in there which was intriguing.
The feel is slightly fuller and creamier than most Molson products but only slightly.
The taste is it's weak point. There is a hint of ginger which comes across more as a feel than as a taste. A lot of underlying sweet flavours which largely come across as corn and very little hop taste. It could be almost any mainstream product. It does have a hint of alcohol in the finish, especailly as it warms but asside from that not much going for it.
I gave it 2 stars for the slightly increased body and hints of ginger and alcohol. I can't help thinking about how a craft brewer could start with this and come up with a great recipe. Mind you it would only be a bare start.

I used to gulp this stuff like there was no tomorrow back in the late 70's and early 80's. Yes it has changed. The once unique capivating aroma it had is now gone and substituted for a bland nothingness.

Beer Quote of the day

I'm just worried that there's enough beer on the bus. That's the top
