A thick, slightly off white head which quickly reduces to a thin lasting cap on a dark amber coloured beer with hints of red showing through.
An aroma of honey and biscuit with hints of malt sourness.
This is a very smooth and creamy feeling beer with tastes of honey, biscuit, earth, and flowers. The finish is citrus like with a nice level of drying bitterness.
A very good gentle blend of flavours, nothing which would offend anyone, I could drink this as a session beer with no trouble at all.

Beer Quote of the day

For drink, there was beer which was very strong when not mingled with water, but was agreeable to those who were used to it.
