BEER is GOOD!
About Bruce Ticknor
Muskoka Lager
We picked this up when we visited the brewery.
It pours with a thin bright white head, the beer is a light amber colour with hints of red.
The feel was quite ale like, creamy and sparkling.
Aromas of honey, berry, biscuit and earth, some citrus comes through when the beer is cold but fades as it warms.
The honey flavour is predominant, the dry hop sparkle and malty earthiness combine to produce a very nice blend of flavours.
Although I found it surprising in a lager this actually had more tastes as it warmed a bit, a good thing on a hot summer day. (Unless you are pounding them back.)
This finish is bitter and dry with the earthiness lingering. Quite pleasant and refreshing.
I'll be buying this one again.
