Ochakovo Premium Lager

A neat little cap on this bottle. A ring attached to a cap which is a little thicker than foil but which pulls off easily with the ring.
The clear bottle worried me, I can't see why breweries haven't learned that clear bottles let U.V. light through and risk skunked beer. Oh well, I got off easy with this one. A minor skunkiness but not bad at all.
The head started off quite thick and white but disappeared almost instantly. The aroma was slightly skunked and not much else.
Feel was fairly creamy and thick.
Taste, well there was the skunk again but not serious. Some malt and earthiness came through but not much else.
The beer does have a nice clean and crisp finish with just enough bitterness from the hops to keep it refreshing.
If I ever see this in a brown bottle or a can I will try it again.
