BEER is GOOD!

Ontario's Archaic Drinking Laws Exposed Again.
The National Post newspaper recently ran an article regarding the L.C.B.O. de-listing Samichlaus beer.
Actually the Post has run 4 anti-L.C.B.O. articles in the last 3 weeks. Sounds like a plot to me. I'm reaching for my tinfoil hat.
Now I must confess that I have never tried this beer, it has always been hard to get hold of here in over-regulated everything Ontario. By all reports it is a good one and from pictures of the bottle which I have seen it is hard for me to imagine how this could possibly be tempting to children. I have seen a lot of brightly coloured and whimsical labelling on expensive wines which would seem a lot more attractive to children.
This whole case seems a bit confusing, apparently the Alcohol and Gaming Commission got 1, that's right 1, complaint about the label and so decided to ban it from sale in Ontario.
The Gaming Commission is a relative newcomer to Ontario's "Consumers are Children" scene having been established in 1998. The idea (I assume) being that nobody in Ontario is mature enough to think for themselves so the government needed to do all thinking for them.
Just to make things even more bizarre the L.C.B.O. says that they often ignore the Commission anyway! This whole system is so ridiculous it has become a joke.
I think that I will try to find which wines or liquors our MPP's like most and file a complaint, maybe if they can't get their favourite tipple they will sober up and take a good long look at the L.C.B.O. and the Gaming Commission.
