BEER is GOOD!

Propeller - Extra Special Bitter (ESB)
A beer from Halifax and I had to get it from a friend who was visiting Vancouver! What a country!
It pours a clear dark ruby red colour with a thick and rocky off-white head which leaves lots of lacing on the glass.
Aroma is faint, I get some raisin and coffee, some molasses comes through as the beer warms.
Feel is nice and rich, lightly carbonated, quite creamy.
Taste is quite complex, starting with roasted coffee and raisins or prunes. The coffee becomes more noticeable as it warms, this brew is better when not too cold. There is a really nice citrus coming in towards the middle of the taste and then competing with the earthy roasted tastes for the finish.
The entire taste profile fits the style as far as I know and makes a really pleasant drink, not overly sweet and the roasted malt flavours are used to enhance rather than overwhelm the taste, the citrus flavours compete easily and also don't try to dominate.
I like this beer.

Propeller - Extra Special Bitter (ESB)
Dark red color with an off white head that stays till it's all gone leaving a nice lace behind.
Some fruit, possibly raisin and some citrus as well as a touch of coffee is the aroma.
The mouth feel is very thick and creamy.
Coffee and the citrus are right up front with some of the sweet malt in the middle finishing with a hop sparkle in the finish.
