Red Leaf Lager

Thick slightly off white head and a fairly dark red/amber coloured beer.
The aroma is slightly sour with an earthiness and a hint of maple sweetness, there was also a touch of a metallic smell.
A clean, full and creamy feel with a bright sparkling bitter finish. There is a maple or honey sweetness on an earthy base. A light grapefruit citrus bitterness wich grows more pronounced as it warms a bit.

A good, full, nicely balanced flavour but a shade watery. Not bad at all.

Red Leaf Lager

Pours a dark red with an off white head.
The aroma is slightly sweet, reminiscent of maple syrup.
Mouth feel is slightly watery but not enough to ruin the over all experience.
It starts out with a bit of sweetness with a crisp citrus finish. This is very, very good. You have to love Craft Breweries!

We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.

Beer Quote of the day

You know, nobody eats in England. Three or four pints of English beer a night fills you. I can't say I'm very impressed with the food in America. it's all sort of bland. Like turkey sandwiches.

(Yes, beer is food.)
