Robert Simpson Confederation Ale
Golden amber in color with a thin white head but lots of lace.
Spice and an earthiness with some citrus and a type of sweetness, perhaps honey in the aroma.
Creamy, full mouthfeel.
Starts out very citrus like with a honey and dough finish.
Nicely balanced with neither hop or malt predominating like all of Flying Monkeys offerings.
Well done Peter and Company. Another winner.

A thin but lasting white head, a clear amber coloured beer.
The aroma I find is earth, biscuit, honey and a hint of spice.
Some nice citrus tastes come through to start the beer, they lay over top of the sweet malt biscuit and honey flavours and blend with some light berry tastes. There is some flowers and grass mixed into the blend.
The feel is quite creamy and full and the beer ends with a nice citrus sparkle. There are enough hops in here to nicely offset the sweetness of the malts.
This is a very pleasant blend, all the tastes meld together nicely and provide a smooth tasty beer with no one taste screaming for dominance.
I will be buying this one again.
