Rogue - Dead Guy Ale

Pours a slightly cloudy copper colour with a full creamy white head.
Aroma was lightly floral with a noticeable sour malt smell.
Feel is quite full and rich.
Taste shows a lot more citrus hops than the aroma promised and the malt is not nearly as pronounced and is much sweeter than I expected from the aroma.
The sour malt aroma I got is not at all revealed in the taste, I was pleasantly surprised.
The aftertaste is a nice blend of citrus (grapefruit) bitter with a brown sugar like sweetness.
I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would from the aroma. Try one if you get a chance, worth the time for sure.

Beer Quote of the day

Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza.

— Dave Barry

(Course without the wheel your pizza would be cold and you would have drunk too many beer to enjoy it anyway.)
