Malty, aromatic beers. Belgian ales rank high on my list.
Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar
Dark brown with a tan head.
Aroma is citrus and earth.
It starts out citrusy with earth undertones and a hop bitterness. Dries out the mouth and begs for another sip. Can't seem to find the hazelnuts. Maybe it's just me, so try it for yourself.
This is quite nice.

Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar
A thick, rocky, tan coloured head on a dark amber/copper beer.
The aroma is very faint with maybe, some earth and a slight milk chocolate scent.
The taste of this ale is quite different. Lot's of caramel and nuts with hints of honey. It almost reminds me of a candy bar. There is a light bitter citrus feel along the sides of the tongue.
This is a nice flavoured ale, I served it with Thanksgiving dessert, it went very nicely with the pumpkin pie although it was not a resounding success. Some of the younger beer drinkers were not expecting the sweet flavours and didn't appreciate it. The more mature guests all seemed to enjoy it.
