Southern Tier - 2XIPA

Pours slightly cloudy, pale gold colour with a huge and lasting white head.
Aroma of pine, citrus and earth with hints of fresh bread dough.
Feel is very rich and creamy.
Taste is a strong hit of pine and grapefruit of the top with a nice sweeter honey and berry flavour underneath.
Bit's of bread and biscuit dough fill in the profile.
The aftertaste is fairly sweet which surprised me after the strong bitter hop start. The sweet malt kicks in and lingers nicely.
I like this one, a great patio beer with a nice full range of tastes and a very clean finish but at 8.2% you best be careful. I suspect that the sweet finish would contribute to a nasty morning after if you over indulge.
