St. Andre's Vienna Lager

Pours a nice reddish color with an off white head.
Dough and citrus are the only aromas I can detect.
Medium mouth feel with a slight pleasant creaminess.
Sweet to start with a hoppy citrus middle and a drying finish that begs for more. This isn't bad, but would probably be more appropriate for weather where there's no snow on the ground.

St. Andre's Vienna Lager

This beer poured with a full, very slightly tan coloured head.
It is a deep, reddish copper colour.
There is a slight citrus and biscuit aroma.
It has a full taste, a bit sweet and quite sparkly, followed by a musty or earthy taste. Quite a nice load of hops which leaves a tingle and sensitivity on the tip of the tongue.
I'll buy this one again occasionally. Mostly in warm weather.

Beer Quote of the day

For drink, there was beer which was very strong when not mingled with water, but was agreeable to those who were used to it.

— Xenophon

(Ah, the good old days.)
