BEER is GOOD!

St. Louis Gueuze Lambic
A Gueuze from the L.C.B.O., shocking.
A clear copper colour with a thin but long lasting white head.
The aroma is quite sour with cloves and hints of earth. The feel is quite full and creamy.
Taste starts sour, tart, lots of green apple and cloves. Some plum and raspberry follow.
The aftertaste is quite long lasting and sour, makes me want more. Both clove and green apple tastes follow into the long finish along with an earthy "barnyard" taste, the raspberry became more pronounced as the beer warmed.
I really enjoyed this one and I intend to pick up a few more for the weekend. I think this would be especially good on a warm summer day.

St. Louis Gueuze Lambic
Pours a deep gold with a medium white head and lots of lace.
Cloves are the predominant aroma.
Medium mouth feel.
Sweet at the start with a fruitiness followed by a citrus tartness and a very nice raspberry finish.
I could make a habit out of beers like this!
