St. Peter's Cream Stout Very little head, what there was is a dark tan colour. The beer itself is very thick, dark, almost black. It poured thick and creamy looking. A very rich looking stout. The aroma is of sweet coffee and earthy citrus. Tastes are burnt coffee, honey, citrus and earth. There are hints of some kind of spice and lots of roasted grain tastes. The coffee or bitter chocolate tastes linger for a long time. This is so rich and creamy it feels like a full meal. The overall taste is very full and pronounced, nothing shy about this stout. A great beer for a cold winter night, I think I will try to lay in a few for Christmas Eve.
