St. Peter's Winter Ale

A thick, off-white head, short lived. A very dark, black and ruby red coloured stout beer.
The aroma is citrus and biscuit with some coffee or chocolate and the feel is very thick and creamy.
Tastes are very much like most stouts, lot's of chocolate, toast and roasted barley with a bit of grapefruit citrus. There is a lot of honey and syrup below the hop sparkle.
This is a very full and warm ale from the solid malt base and the coffee and bitter chocolate flavours.
A very nice "winter warmer".

Beer Quote of the day

People who drink light 'beer' don't like the taste of beer; they just like to pee alot.
