Malty, aromatic beers. Belgian ales rank high on my list.
Trafalgar Brewing - Bock Lager
Trafalgar Brewing - Bock Lager
Dark red with a short lived off white head.
No aroma. Now I'm worried.
Watery mouth feel.
Mostly alcohol taste with some berry, roasted malt and chocolate. Not too bad at all but I've had better from Trafalgar.
What is the abv on this one?
We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.

Trafalgar Brewing - Bock Lager
A medium tan coloured and short lived head on a very dark red/brown (cola) coloured beer.
I could find no aroma at all.
The feel was medium, slightly watery.
The taste started with a bit of roasted malt, some chocolate and a hint of berry in the finish.
Some alcohol or acitone tastes were present as well.
As Bock beers go this is not a great example. Of course, knowing Trafalgar the next bottle could be exceptional. I wish they could learn to be consistant.
