BEER is GOOD!

Trailhead Premium Lager
Pale yellow and slightly cloudy. A fairly full coarse and quickly shrinking white head.
Aroma is tinny somehow, like canned fruit used to be when I was young.
Feel is not bad at all.
Taste is somewhat sour off the top, the tinny aroma translates into the taste, the hops are quite mild and floral, like clover maybe. Not malt tastes seem to come through and the whole profile is fairly bland. There IS that tinny taste and that makes me think of fruit tastes whether they are there or not.
Not bad but nothing to write home about.

Trailhead Premium Lager
Pours amber cloudy much like a wheat beer with a thin white head.
Very slight citrus aroma and not much of that.
Very, very mild flavor. An earthy taste with just a hint of citrus but not much else. I could drink a gallon of this which is not a good thing when I am looking for a beer with some deep flavor. It's crisp and clean, but then again so are all the main stream beers. I am slightly disappointed, I expected more from a Craft Brewery.
We are strong supporters of Ontario Craft Brewers. Ask for them at your local LCBO in Ontario or better yet, visit one or all of their breweries. You will be glad you did.
