Tree Brewing - Hop Head Double IPA

Pours a cloudy dark amber with a full, creamy and lasting tan coloured head.
Aromas of pine, citrus, earth and honey.
Feel is very full, rich and creamy.
Tastes are wonderful. If you like hops this is a good one to try.
A full and solid malt base with lot's of honey and fresh bread tastes hold up the huge hoppiness, pine, grapefruit and earth are all in there. Hints of lemon zest and orange.
The finish is a lovely blend of tastes with the solid malt base continuing to support the hop hits. Both linger a long while but the bitter hops win in the end and leave a nice clean taste.
I like this one a lot but if you don't like hops this is probably not one for you.

Oh sure!

Was that directed at me, oh Hopheaded one?

Of course. Everyone knows

Of course. Everyone knows that you can't handle any flavour but corn.
The slightest trace of hops or (God forbid) real barley malt and you have no idea what it is your tasting!!!

Mind you, you seemed to enjoy the Panil Barriquée this evening.

Beer Quote of the day

In my opinion, most of the great men of the past were only there for the beer - the wealth, prestige and grandeur that went with the power.

— A. J. P. Taylor

(Drink enough beer and you think you have wealth, prestige and grandeur. Mostly the grandeur, or delusions there of!)
