BEER is GOOD!

Wellington Brewery - Silver Wheat Ale
Wellington Brewery - Silver Wheat Ale
Pours clear, pale amber with a very short lived white head.
Aroma of fresh wheat and hard water (iron).
Feel is nicely creamy.
Taste is fairly bland, some dough and fresh milled wheat, a hint of honey and some flowery, lightly bitter hops.
I expected a fuller flavour from Wellington, but for a light beer it's not bad.

Wellington Brewery - Silver Wheat Ale
Pours amber with a thick but short lived head.
I smell grain and just a hint of citrus.
Creamy mouth feel.
I don't know why but I get a taste of corn right off the bat with a hop tingle right behind. It finishes with a honey sweetness that isn't all too nice but not altogether unpleasant either. It has some complexity but all and all I am disappointed.
