Wellington County, Special Pale Ale
A very hoppy, slightly malty aroma.
This beer is fairly bitter, enough to feel a distinct dryness in the mouth. There is very little sweetness to this beer, although there is a malt aftertaste underneath the dryness. The bitterness gives it a bright, sparkling taste which I really enjoy on a hot summer day.
This is another of those clean tasting beers which you could drink a lot of quite easily while enjoying every one of them.
I will buy this one again, not regularly but occasionally.
This beer would go well with stews, game, smoked fish, and nippy or smoked cheeses.
