Wells Bombardier English Premium Bitter

A dark copper coloured beer with a thick light tan coloured head.
I can smell a bit of citrus and maybe a hint of chocolate.
It feels a bit thick.
The tastes are light citrus, like a very mild lemon taste, with some sweetness like chocolate, and a touch of coffee. The citrus gets stronger as I drink it.
Pretty good tasting. It leaves a slight dry feel in my mouth. Like a cup of tea does.
I like it.

congrats newbeergeek

Congratulations newbeergeek, you seem to be learning about good beer very quickly.
I agree with most of your comments on "Bombardier".
I urge you (I see from your profile that you are from Toronto) to search out Ontario Craft brewery beers.
Some of them are wonderful. Some of them maybe not.
Trying them is more than worth the few you wont like.

Well's Bombardier

Deep copper color with an off white head that dissipates rapidly.
The aroma is of berries and citrus.
First taste is fruity creaminess which leaves a pleasant coating all over the mouth and tongue.
The middle and finish is a sweetness that cries for more hops.
A very malty ale that is fine for this winter weather but isn't hoppy enough for the summer months. I like it very much.

Wells Bombardier

A full and creamy thick, light tan coloured head on a deep red/copper coloured beer.
The aroma is slightly sour with citrus, earth, and some bread dough hints.
A very creamy, buttery feel with tastes of citrus, chocolaty roasted malt, some berries and biscuit. The flavour is light enough to make this a good session beer.
It finishes with a nice creamy bitterness.
All in all, a very good malty blend with enough hoppy bitterness to set it all off and make
you want more.

I will buy this one again often.
