Malty, aromatic beers. Belgian ales rank high on my list.
Wolfgang's German Style Beer
Wolfgang's German Style Beer
Cloudy golden with a thin quickly dissipating head.
Citrus and dough are the main parts of the aroma but there is something else in the background that I can't sniff out.
Full creamy mouth feel.
Starts out very strong with a definite citrus taste and a hop tingle. Then it kind of flattens out and ends with a strong grapefruit like taste.
This is not a bad brew, but not great either.

Wolfgang's German Style Beer
A cloudy amber coloured beer with a thin and very short lived white head.
The aroma is faint, there is some citrus and dough aroma.
The feel is reasonably rich and creamy, fuller than a mainstream in feel.
Taste starts quite nicely with citrus and grass tastes over a sweet malt base. Unfortunately it finishes with a strong and not very pleasant corn and stewed vegetable flavour.
If I could stop the tastes at the beginning of this beer I would enjoy it but, unfortunately, for me the finish kills it.
I won't be looking for this one any time soon.
